Mental Vital Signs was conceived by Dr. Eugene Lipov, best known for repurposing an old technology called SGB (Stellate Ganglion Block), which has now been administered to at least 5,000 to 10,000 Special Forces personnel, saving numerous lives from suicide. Dr. Lipov has delivered Grand Rounds at Home Base 2024—a collaboration between Wounded Warriors and Harvard University—and has published over 20 articles in the PTSD space. His deep understanding of PTSD in the military and his personal experience with depression and family trauma, stemming from his mother’s suicide during his internship, have driven his groundbreaking work.

Dr. Lipov also collaborates with the University of Athens on medical AI and works with other leading universities specializing in areas critical for the rapid development of MVS.
